egion1                                               Julie Leblanc, a.k.a /de.i.te/ is a Montreal based, multidisciplinary artist in experimental medias. Her creations emerge through high-tech interactive manipulations of lo-fi sounds and looped images, sourced from found objects taken out of their context, thus creating familiar, albeit soft, abstract and mysterious sonic and visual compositions. Currently studying for her master's in experimental media at UQAM (Quebec University in Montreal), she is exploring interactive video and sound installations meant to question the creative process through the use of new technologies and stimulate introspection toward our human condition; by way of a personal lyrical artistic process.     myspace
